A Brief History of Everything Famous

Left alone to its devices up here in the farthest, leftest corner of the country, Seattle is a little city simmering with big ideas. World Famous applies the outsized ambition of this weird and wonderful place to finely crafted visual storytelling—all-inclusive film production that embraces live action, animation and the limitless cutting-edge spaces in between.

Since launching World Famous in 2005, founders Tony Fulgham and Alan Nay have plumbed the depths of Seattle’s vibrant creative community and rounded up a frisky gang of hyper-talented directors, designers, musicians, artists, dreamers and doers. Our staff of 15 is nimble, inventive and tireless, staying up to date on developing trends and technologies while offering the personal service clients expect.

It’s taken eight years, but the chemistry in our office is impeccable. And, according to our peers, undeniable—World Famous has been spotlighted by the Northwest’s most important tastemakers and recently won the prestigious Best of Show ADDY Awards in Washington and Utah. In the last couple years, Megan joined the Mayor’s Film and Music Advisory Board, Alan was named to the Seattle Economic Development Commission and Tony received a generous grant from Washington Filmworks to produce his first short film.

Welcome to World Famous. Where great stories are born.

Of course this is one of the best places to work in Seattle, but to prove it they made a committee. The Best Places to Work in Seattle is a joint effort of Seattle Met magazine, Lake Washington Human Resource Association, Seattle Society for Human Resource Management, Downtown Seattle Association, and Best Companies Group. The survey was open to all publicly and privately held companies with at least 15 employees in the Seattle area.
