Alan Nay

Alan has lived and worked in every corner of the country, but he found his home in Seattle and his calling as a founding director of World Famous. With a lifelong love of music and a professional background in editing, Alan understands the big picture behind every project we tackle. His take: No matter how big or small, making a film is like playing a song—both have a certain tempo and trajectory, and when your crew locks in together, improvisation turns into innovation. Despite a sense of humor that's politely described as "irreverent," Alan was recently appointed to the  Mayor's Economic Development Commission, championing the creative community of Seattle as an integral component of the city's economy.
