Seattle filmmaker Lynn Shelton shot a web series for MTV starring some of our favorite Seattle musicians and featuring some of our favorite Seattle places. “$5 Dollar Cover: Seattle.” She needed some short main title sequences that could hold a ton of titles and illustrate the connections between all of the bands. We took a camera and some instruments into a dark, smelly basement belonging to The Maldives and shot 12 title sequences.
